Our Policy applies to all visitors, users, and others who access and/or use the Service (“Users”).
In order to provide the best service, Famitip will need to collect the information stated in Section II from Users. The information collected from Users, is used to analyze how the Service is being used, personalize content, to diagnose any service or technical problems, maintain a secure Service, monitor aggregate metrics (including but not limited to traffic, User demographic pattersn, total number of visitors, etc.), and to track User Content and Users as necessary to comply with the Digital Millenium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws.
No confidential information collected from Users (including but not limited to, phone number, physical address, or other proprietary information, etc.) will be made public on the Service.
Famitip collects the following types of information:
In order to subscribe for a member account with the Service, a User must provide personally identifying information, such as name and email address. Certain information a User chooses to provide for purposes of registering or using the Service (including, but not limited to, name, email address, geographic location, etc.), may be available for public viewing. A User’s email address may be used to send messages related to the Service, the User’s membership, and/or notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail. Famitip may utilize a User’s information for marketing purposes. If a User chooses not to receive marketing-related messages via email or text, the User may opt out by following the instructions in the message. If a User chooses to correspond with Famitip via email or text message, Famitip may retain the content of said messages.
Should a User utilize a social media networking site (“SNS”) account information (including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc.) to sign in to the Service, Famitip will collect and store the SNS user information.
A User also provides information to the Service via the User Content posted on the Famitip website. Any User Content posted on the Service, such as the reviews, questions, answers, pictures, metadata (for example, when you posted the information), are available to the public on the Service. A User’s name may be publicly viewed, unless the Service allows for a User to post anonymously and the User chooses to do so. Any User Content may be searchable by search engines and be republished elsewhere on the Web in accordance with Famitip’s Terms of Service.
Famitip collects and analyzes non-personal information, including:
(a) information regarding the device being used to access the Service, such as: geolocation information, device identifiers, browser type and language, IP address, etc.; and
(b) information related to the way a User interacts with the Service, such as: time spent on the Service, pages viewed, the date and time the Service was used, etc.
The Service may collect a User’s location-related information (including, but not limited to, IP address, zip code, etc.). If a User chooses not to share his/her location with the Service, the location-tracking functions on the device may be disabled in the device’s settings, provided the device allows it.
When a User uses a mobile device like a tablet or phone to access the Service, we may access, collect, monitor, store on the User’s device, and/or remotely store one or more “device identifiers.”
Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored on, or associated with the User’s mobile device, which uniquely identify the User’s mobile device. A device identifier may be data stored in connection with the device hardware, data stored in connection with the device’s operating system or other software, or data sent to the device by Famitip.
A device identifier may deliver information to us or to a third-party partner about how you browse and use the Service and may help us or others provide reports or personalized content and ads.
Some features of the Service may not function properly if use or availability of device identifiers is impaired or disabled.
As Famitip’s technology changes, the Service may gather additional information through other methods.
We will not rent or sell your information to third parties outside Famitip (or the group of companies of which Famitip is a part) without your consent, except as noted in this Policy.
We may share personal information (including but not limited to, information from log files, device identifiers, location data, and usage data) with businesses that are legally part of the same group of companies that Famitip is part of, or that become part of that group (hereinafter “Affiliates”). Affiliates may use this information to help provide, understand, and improve the App (including by providing analytics) and Affiliates’ own services (including, by providing you with better and more relevant experiences). These Affiliates will honor the choices you make about who can see your Personal Information and/or User Content.
We also may share your information as well as information from tools like log files, and device identifiers and location data, with third-party organizations that help us provide the Service to you (“Service Providers“). Our Service Providers will be given access to your information as is reasonably necessary to provide the Service under reasonable confidentiality terms.
We may remove data, in whole or in part, that can identify you and share anonymous data with other parties.
We may combine your information with other information in a way that it is no longer associated with you and share that aggregated information.
Any information or content that you voluntarily disclose for posting to the Service, such as User Content, becomes available to the public. Once you have posted or shared User Content that User Content is public, and that User Content may be re-shared by others.
Famitip may share or disclose a User’s information with the User’s consent (e.g. a User chooses to sign on to the Service through a third-party service. Famitip is not responsible for the third- parties’ use of the information.
If we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of Famitip or our assets to another organization (e.g., in the course of a transaction like a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, liquidation), your information such as name and email address, User Content and any other information collected through the Service may be among the items sold or transferred. We may also transfer or assign such information in the course of corporate divestures, mergers, or dissolution.
We may access, preserve and share your information in response to a legal request (like a search warrant, court order or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. This may include responding to legal requests from jurisdictions outside of the United States where we have a good faith belief that the response is required by law in that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction, and is consistent with internationally recognized standards. We may also access, preserve and share information when we have a good faith belief it is necessary to: detect, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activity; to protect ourselves, you and others, including as part of investigations; and to prevent death or imminent bodily harm. Information we receive about you may be accessed, processed and retained for an extended period of time when it is the subject of a legal request or obligation, governmental investigation, or investigations concerning possible violations of our terms or policies, or otherwise to prevent harm.

2. How Long Will We Keep User Content?
Following termination or deactivation of a User(s)’s account, Famitip, its Affiliates, or its Service Providers may retain information (including profile information) and User Content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, and/or audit purposes.
Protecting the privacy of young children is very important to us. Famitip does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13, or knowingly allow such persons to register for the Service. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without parental consent, we will delete that account and any User Content associated with that account immediately. In addition, we are not responsible and do not have control over any third-parties that you authorize to access your User Content. If you are using a third-party website or service and you allow them to access your User Content, you do so at your own risk.
Famitip may use third party advertising companies to serve marketing and advertising materials on its behalf to its own and other websites across the internet. However, Famitip does not share any Personal Information with any third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes unless the User provides Famitip the consent to do so.
Famitip will communicate with Users, with their consent, regarding Services, promotions, newsletters, and/or Service-related information (e.g. account verification, changes/updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices) via email and/or SMS text messages (standard messaging rates may apply). Users may opt out of receiving newsletters and promotional materials by accessing their notification settings on the Service, or by clicking ‘Unsubscribe’ in the email communications. However, Users may not opt out of any communications sent via email regarding Services and/or Service-related information.
